Ecosystem approach, place-based management, sea use management, ecosystem-based marine spatial management and the ecosystem-based maritime spatial planning are increasingly common phonemes. Behind all of them is the Ecosystem-based Marine Space Governance that actually means the management of stakeholder relationships based on recognition of their interests.
