The Nordic Seas are the main feeding area for the three large pelagic fish stocks, Norwegian Spring Spawning herring (NSS herring), North East Atlantic mackerel (NEA mackerel) and blue whiting. In this paper we focus on the southwestern Norwegian Sea.
