A Symposium Planning Group on "The Role of Physical and Biological Processes in the Dynamics of Marine Populations"

At its mid-term meeting, the Consultative Committee requested that a Planning Group elaborate the proposals announced at the 1994 ASC for a Symposium on "The Role of Physical and Biological Processes in the Recruitmcnt Dynamics of Marine Populations". The Consultative Committee also requested that Mr. H. Loeng (Norway) be included in this planning Group along with Dr. MJ. Fogarty (USA), and Prof. T. Osborn (USA). MR. H. Loeng also agreed to be included as a Co-Convenor. The

Consultative Committee also requested that the General Secretary write to Prof. I.H. Shepherd (UK) inviting him to join the Planning Group, with a view to being a Co-Convenor. Prof Shepherd subsequently agreed to this.
