Age and growth of Illex coindetii

Age and growth of Illex coindetii collected along the Mediterranean coast of Spain were estimated from growth increments in the statoliths. Length and age data were fitted to logistic growth curves for each sex. Growth was studied in both males and females and during both the warm season and the cold season.
