Assessment of West of Scotland cod (ICES Division VIa) using a Bayesian approach

This paper presents an assessment of West of Scotland cod using research vessel survey data and age compositions for the landings and discards. Unlike the last ICES assessments data from all four available surveys are used with the complete time series of catch compositions from 1985 onwards. An attempt is made to estimate mortality due to seals using diet data for two years.
