Beaked redfish (Sebastes mentella) in Division 14.b, demersal (Southeast Greenland)
ICES advises that when the precautionary approach is applied, there should be zero catch in 2024.
Management of beaked redfish (Sebastes mentella) and golden redfish (Sebastes norvegicus) catches under a combined species TAC prevents effective control of the single‑species exploitation rates and could lead to the overexploitation of either species.
