In the absence of reference points and an analytical assessment, the state of the stock cannot be fully evaluated. Stock size is probably low; the estimate from the acoustic survey in 2009 is less than 5% of the estimates at the beginning of the survey time series in the early 1990s. The exploitation rate for this stock is unknown.
