ICES advises that when the precautionary approach is applied, there should be zero catches in 2025 and 2026.

Management of beaked redfish (Sebastes mentella) and golden redfish (Sebastes norvegicus) catches under a combined species TAC prevents effective control of the single‑species exploitation rates and leads to overexploitation of beaked redfish in Division 14.b.
