ICES advises on the basis of the MSY approach but cannot quantify the resulting catches. The implied landings should be no more than 1050 tonnesin 2015. Combined landings of Lophius piscatorius and Lophius budegassa should be no more  than 2987 tonnes in  2015. Discards  are  known  to  take  place  but  cannot  be  quantified;  therefore,total  catches cannot be calculated.
