Data Call Guidelines

These guidelines have been created to clarify ICES data call processes; to define criteria for what constitutes a data call issued by ICES, as opposed to a data call issued by an ICES expert group (what has been loosely referred to as “formal” and “informal” data calls, respectively); and to describe the procedures for each. The guidance outlines the roles and responsibilities of ICES expert group chairs and ICES Secretariat.
