Draft Report, Working Group on the Introduction of non indigenous Marine Organisms

The main purpose of the meeting was to amend the Draft Report (previously circulated), which had been prepared from the replies to the questionnaire sent to all member countries after the first meeting of the Working Group. All minor amendments were made at the meeting. Two major changes requiring further work by the Secretary and Convener were agreed upon. It was decided that the individual statements from member countries, which were to be included as Appendices, should now be omitted, and where reference was made in the Draft Report to information to be found in individual replies, this information would be extracted by the Secretary and inserted in the report itself.
