EU request on proposal on indicators for MSFD Descriptor 4 (foodwebs)
ICES advises on potentially useful future indicators for MSFD Descriptor 4 (foodwebs). These include some indicators that are currently being implemented (including the large fish indicator). A roadmap with a timetabletowards implementing these indicatorsis suggested. In addition, this advice summarizes ICES work on the large fish indicator.
