<p dir="ltr">The Fisheries Resources Steering Group (FRSG) is responsible for guiding and supporting expert groups that are working on advisory-related and science topics contributing to the management of wild-capture fisheries.<br></p><p dir="ltr">Topics covered include:</p><ul><li>single-species and multi-species stock assessment, including data-limited methods.</li><li>management strategy evaluations, addressing uncertainty, and improving the transparency, robustness, efficiency and repeatability of stock assessment</li><li>operationalization of ecosystem-based fishery management and maximum sustainable yield concepts and their application in mixed, multispecies and emerging fisheries</li><li>fisheries spatial dynamics, mixed fishery interactions and responses to management measures</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b>2024 Resolutions (applicable for meetings to be held in 2024 and 2025); resolutions from November 2024 to October 2025 are named ‘2024 resolutions'.</b></p>
