Guidelines for ICES Groups
These guidelines were developed for anyone involved in ICES work, with a focus on the members and chairs of working groups and workshops, operational groups, strategic initiatives, advice drafting groups, the Advisory Committee (ACOM) and the Science Committee (SCICOM). The guidelines describe how to establish, run and report on the work of an expert group (the generic term for groups and workshops), the roles of members and chairs of all ICES groups, and ICES Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for scientists contributing to International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES).
ICES endeavours to update these guidelines annually to accommodate the most recent decisions by governance bodies, ICES system updates, and feedback from the network on material to include. If you identify material that would improve these guidelines, or find any errors, please contact ICES Secretariat (science@ices.dk).
