Guidelines for implementing the ICES code of practice concerning introductions and transfers of marine species

This document has been prepared and reviewed by the Working Group on the Introductions and Transfers of Marine Organisms. It attempts to clarify information relevant to the revised Code of Practice concerning introduced species as approved by the Council at its 1979 Statutory Meeting. Included are the following sections: I. The revised Code of Practice as approved by the Council at its 1979 Statutory Meeting; II. A list of definitions for the application of the Code; III. An augmentation and explanation of each of the sections of the Code, as appropriate. More details are provided in _{CRR 159, 1988}.
