HELCOM Expert Group on Phytoplankton Biovolume File

This document focuses on the data flow of phytoplankton monitoring data into the HELCOM Expert Group on Phytoplankton (EG PHYTO) biovolume (PEG_BVOL) file, hosted by ICES. The data hosted at ICES are primarily collected by research institutions within HELCOM member countries. A new version of the data is published on an annual basis, and data governance is the responsibility of HELCOM EG PHYTO.
