Hysterothylacium aduncum (Nematoda) in fish

The nematode is abundant and common in marine teleosts,  particularly gadoids, in North  Atlantic waters. Although recorded also in elasmobranchs, these are not true hosts; the nematodes  have been  ingested  with prey.
