ICES/HELCOM Steering Group on Quality Assurance of Chemical Measurements in the Baltic Sea [SGQAC]

The annual meeting of the ICES/HELCOM Steering Group on Quality Assurance of Chemical Measurements in the Baltic Sea (ICES/HELCOM SGQAC) was organised at the premises of the ICES in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 22 - 25 February 2005. The Chairman, Michael Gluschke, opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. on the 22nd February 2005.

Mrs Diane Lindemann, the ICES contact person for the meeting, welcomed the participants on behalf of the ICES. She also presented information on practical arrangements for the meeting.

The meeting was attended by participants from Germany, Poland and Sweden. Participants of Finland and Latvia were absent with valid excuse. Participants of Denmark, Lithuania, Russia, and Estonia were absent without giving any reason.
