Interim Report of the Working Group on Marine Renewable Energy (WGMRE)

The second meeting of the ICES Working Group on Marine Renewable Energy (WGMRE) took place on 14–17 April 2015. It was hosted by University of Swansea. There were 9 attendees in person and 2 who joined by teleconference for part of the time. New members attended from Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. The other attendees were from Spain, Portugal, Ireland and the United Kingdom.With over half the members being new to the group, and several being new to the ICES community the main focus of the meeting was updates and discussion on relevant work in respective countries. The approach taken during the meeting facilitated presentations and discussion of the Terms of Reference.
