Interim Report of the Working Group on Standardization of Scientific Methods for Comparing the Catches Performance of Different Fishing Gear
At the Councils 59th Statutory Meeting held in Helsinki in 1971, the following resolution (1971/2:4) was passed:
"It was decided, that:
(a) a Working Group be set up to be concerned with the standardization of scientific methods of comparing the catching performance of different fishing gear.
It is anticipated that a document (manual) providing guidance on experimental procedures and analysis will be produced.
The Convenor will be Dr H Bohl.
(b) the Group should meet in Hamburg for three days at a date to be agreed."
