Joint Session of the Working Group on Fisheries Acoustics and Technology and the Working Group of Fishing Technology and Fish Behaviour

A joint meeting of the \Vorking Groups on Fisheries Acoustics Sciencc & Technology (FAST) and Fishing Technology & Fish Behaviour (FTFB) was held in Hamburg during the afternoon of 17 April 1997. according to ICES Resolution C.Res. 1996/2:22. The objective of the meeting was to "consider the problems to be rcsolved in determining the catchability of the sampling gears used to estimate the size and species encountered in acoustic surveys of both pelagic and demersal fish stocks".
