ICES advises that when the precautionary approach is applied, and assuming that discard rates and fishery selection patterns do not change from the average of the years 2016, 2018 and 2019, catches in each of the years 2023 and 2024 should be no more than 304 tonnes.

To ensure the stock in Functional Unit (FU) 32 is exploited sustainably, management should be implemented at the functional unit level.
