<p dir="ltr">ICES advises that when the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) approach is applied, catches should be no more than 170 tonnes in each of the years 2026 and 2027.</p><p dir="ltr">To ensure that the stock in functional units (FUs) 28–29 is exploited sustainably, management should be implemented at the stock level. The current implementation may not be sustainable.</p><p dir="ltr">ICES notes the existence of a management plan, developed and adopted by one of the relevant management authorities for Division 9.a.</p><p dir="ltr"><br></p>
