In October and November supplies came frotn the East Anglian fisheries, and from the eastern part of the Channel, somewhat beyond Cape Gris-Nez, in the following period. As usual each sample contained about 200 fish, and the routine observations on length, maturity, age and race were made. In all some 2600 fish were examined
