Platform Code Request

This document focuses on the data flow into the Platform Code Request data tool, which hosts ship codes to be used in other ICES Data Centre dataflows. The platform code list is hosted by ICES and owned by SeaDataNet. There is no dedicated data call for the request of new codes. The governance of ICES Vocabularies and Codes is the responsibility of the Platform Group, which comprises ICES, NOAA, BODC, and SeaDataNet.
