The Stock Identification Methods Working Group (SIMWG), met by correspondence in 2006–2007. SIMWG members liaised with ICES WG members on stock identification issues related to tusk, ling, blue ling, redfish and deepwater sharks. A review of other issues and events related to Stock Identification Methods is also provided to summarize new developments in the field.
