REPORT OF THE STUDY GROUP ON MULTISPECIES MODEL IMPLEMENTATION IN THE BALTIC (SGMMIB)

a) finalize the revision of quarterly catch at age and weight at age data and update the input to include 1997;b) further test and improve the 4M programme package, e.g. in respect to data entry and exchange;c) explore available software, outside 4M, to perform multispecies yield and stock predictions considering recruitment variability depending on parental stock and environmental conditions;d) continue the development of a practicable MSVPA tuning procedure;e) revise the quarterly consumption rates of cod based on the updated stomach content data-base, considering ambient environmental conditions in different subareas of the Baltic;f) perform spatially-disaggregated MSVPA test runs.
