Report of the Working Group on Marine Sediments in Relation to Pollution (WGMS)
The Acting Chair, Dr S.Rowlatt, opened the meeting of the Working Group on Marine Sediments in Relation to
Pollution (WGMS) at 10.00 hrs on 5 March 2001 at the Instituto Hidrografico, Lisboa. Technical Director
Augusto Ezequiel gave a speech of welcome. Dr Rowlatt thanked Mr Ezequiel and outlined the programme for the
week.
