Report 2 of the Planning Group on Redfish Stocks (PGRS)

The Planning Group on Redfish Stocks [PGRS] (Chair: T. Sigurdsson, Iceland) will meet at ICES Headquarters from 21–22 January 2003 and in Hamburg, Germany for 2 days in late July 2003 to:

a) plan the international trawl/acoustic survey of redfish to be carried out in the Irminger Sea and adjacent waters in June/July 2003 (January meeting);

b) prepare to report on the outcome of the surveys (July meeting).

PGRS will report by 15 August 2003 for the attention of the Resource Management Committee and ACFM.
