Report of the Blue Whiting Planning Group for the Coordinated Acoustic Survey 1982
The meeting for discussion of survey plans were held at ICES headquarters, Copenhagen, from 3-5 May 1982. The terms of reference were set by the Council's resolution passed at its 69th Statutory Meeting (C.Res.1981/2:23):
It was decided that:
"a Coordinating Group for the Blue Whiting Acoustic Survey in the Norwegian Sea should meet 10-11 May 1982 under the chairmanship of Mr T. Monstad (Norway) at lCES headquarters to draw up plans for the acoustic survey in 1982, including calibration procedures."
