Report of the Planning Group on Recreational Fisheries Surveys (PGRFS)

PGRFS became WGRFS (Working Group on Recreational Fisheries Surveys). WGRFS discusses, evaluates and develops common methods for recreational fisheries surveys. EU Members States (MS) are required to establish such programmes for several key species (cod, European seabass, eels, salmon and bluefin tuna according to ICES areas) in order to meet the requirements of the EU Data Collection Framework (EC Regulations 199/2008 and EC Decision 2008/949/EC).
