Report of the Planning Group on Redfish Stocks (PGRS)
The Planning Group on Redfish Stocks [PGRS] (Chair: Mr T. Sigurdsson, Iceland) will meet in Bergen 5-6
February 2001 to:
a) plan an international trawl/acoustic survey of redfish to be carried out in the Irminger Sea and adjacent
waters in June/July 2001;
b) prepare work by correspondence during summer/autumn 2001 to report on the outcome of the surveys;
c) consider the required frequency of the surveys as input to assessments.
