A Study Group on Baltic Acoustic Data (SGBAD) will be established (Chairman Mr E. Götze, Germany) and will meet at ICES Headquarters from 10-11 April 1997 to:
a) compile and analyse results from acoustic surveys in 1996 and report to the Baltic Fisheries Assessment Working Group;
b) establish a simple acoustic database.
The Study Group will report to WGBFAS.
