The Study Group had been assigned the following tasks:
a) to review the available information on M-74 and similar reproductive disturbances;
b) to propose details of scientific studies to investigate
the causes and mechanisms of these reproductive disturbances and their effects on reproduction/early life stages of fish;
c) to prepare areport for the Baltic Salmon and Trout Assessment Working Group and the Working Group on Pathology and Diseases of Marine Organisms
