Report of the Study Group on Patchiness Investigations

This report contains the final conclusions reached during the course of two meetings to discuss the detailed planning of multi-national experiment PEX. These meetings were held in Tallin, Estonian SSR, from 21-23 October 1985, and Gdansk, Poland from 4-6 February 1986. Significant changes to these conclusions resulting from informal meetings at Karlskrona, Sweden on 21 and 23 April 1986, immediately prior to PEX, have been included in this report.
