Report of the Study Group on Redfish Stocks

At the ICES 80th Statutory Meeting, it was decided
(C.Res. 1992/2: 15) that the Study Group on Redfish
Stocks should meet at ICES Headquarters from 12-14
May, 1993 to:
a) coordinate national research programmes on the
oceanic type Sebastes melllella in the Irminger Sea
and adjacent waters;
b) evaluate the results of the joint Icelandic-Russian
acoustic survey conducted in 1992;
c) report to the Oemersal Fish Committee
