Report of the Study Group on Stock Identification Protocols for Finfish and Shellfish Stocks

At its 1994 Annual Science Conference, ICES resolved (C.Res. 1994/2:56) that a Study Group on Stock Identification Protocols for Finfish and Shellfish Stocks would meet under the chairmanship of Dr K. Friedland (USA) in Aberdeen, UK,

from 30 October to 3 November 1995. The Study Group would consider questions related to stock identification methodology and protocols for the application ofstock identification techniques in fisheries management advice.
