At its 2003 Statutory Meeting, ICES resolved (C. Res. 2003/2101) that a Study Group on the Bycatch of Salmon in Pelagic Trawl Fisheries [SGBYSAL] (Chair: Marianne Holm, Norway) will meet at the Institute of Marine Research, Bergen, Norway, 9–12 March 2004 to consider questions posed to ICES by the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation (NASCO).
