Report of the Study Group on the North Sea "Plaice Box"

It was decided at the Statutory Meeting (C.Res. 2:6:21) that a Study Group on the North Sea Plaice Box be established and will meet in Charlottenlund, Denmark from 11-15 April 1994 to:

a) investigate appropriate modifications to the plaice box;

b) quantify the expected short- and lang term effects of such modifications on both yield and biomass for plaice and all other relevant species;

c) identify possible additional regulations associated with the "plaice box".
