Report of the Working Group on Assessment of Demersal Stocks in the Baltic

At the Statutory Meeting of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea held in Lisbon 1973 it was decided (c.nos.1973/2:6) that the Working Group on Assessment of Demersal Stocks in the Baltic should meet in order to assess the present state of the stocks of cod and flatfish in the Baltic. The Working Group is requested to caITy out these tasks with a view to enabling the Liaison Committee to give advice as to regulations which may be needed:for approaching the optimum yield :from the stocks of the said species.
