Report of the Working Group on Biodiversity Science

The ICES Working Group on Biodiversity Science met at ICES Headquarters, Copen-hagen, 10–14 February 2014. Six scientists from four countries, along with two mem-bers of the ICES secretariat, participated at the meeting (see Annex 1). WGBIODIV is a three-year working group and the 2014 meeting was the second of this 3-year term. This report therefore represents the group’s second interim report. WGBIODIV’s final report, addressing all four of its ToRs (Table 1), will be delivered as a Co-operative Research Report (CRR), due in 2015. The report contents (provisional chapter titles), and links to ToRs, are summarised in Table 2. Individual aspects of its work will be submitted for publication in peer-reviewed scientific literature. This interim report starts to develop the final CRR structure
