This report is based on work by correspondence. During 2004 the Working Group on Cephalopod Fisheries and Life History (WGCEPH) members have also been involved in two other different tasks at the European level: the preparation of a theme session on cephalopod stocks at the ICES Annual Science Conference 2004 in Vigo and the continuation of reviews prepared within CEPHSTOCK, an EEC concerted action.
