Report of the Working Group on Eventual Establishment of an ICES ADP System for Fishery Statistics
The council decided that
(a) a Working Group shall be convened by the Chairman of the Statistics committee to:
i) evaluate the Report of the CWP Study Group on Automatic Data Processing
ii) define the user specifications for a possible ICES ADP system for fishery statistics, and
iii) draw-up a complete specification for it
(b) the Group should include the Council's Statistician and experts in the fields of stock assessment and data processeing. It should meet for three days in Charlottenlund at a date to be agreed and present its first Report to the Council at its Meeting in 1972. (C. Res. 1971/2:14)
