The meeting was opened at 09 40am on 1 May 1995,

hosted by the Irish Marine Data Centre and held at Dublin Castle. Participants were welcomed by the WG Chairman. In her opening remarks, she mentioned that she was keen to involve as many countries as possible in the Working Group
