The Working Group on Marine Habitat Mapping (WGMHM), chaired by Pål Buhl-Mortensen, Norway, convened on the Isle of Vilm (Bundesamt für Naturschutz) in Rügen, Germany, from 22–25 May 2012. Two essential topics that were dealt with during the meeting were accuracy and con-fidence relating to habitat modelling (ToR c) and the use of habitat mapping for man-agement (ToR d). Experts also presented statuses on both national and international mapping projects (ToR a) and b).
