At its 2000 Statutory Meeting, ICES resolved (C. Res. 2000/2ACFM07) that the Working Group on North Atlantic
Salmon [WGNAS](Chair: Dr. N. Ó Maoiléidigh, Ireland) will meet in Edinburgh, UK from the 2-11 April 2001 to
consider questions posed to ICES by the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation (NASCO). An alternative
venue was selected in Aberdeen, UK during the same period.

The Working Group considered 31 Working Documents submitted by participants (Appendix 1); other references cited in the report are given in Appendix 2.
