Report of the Working Group on Shelf Seas Oceanography

The meeting was opened at 10.00 on the 18 May 1995 and

hosted by the Finnish Institute of Marine Research. Helsinki.

Participants were welcomed by the WG chairman and the

representative of the Institute, Mr. Pekka Alenius. At a following joint session with the WG on Harmful Algal Bloom

Dynamits both groups were welcomed by the Director of the

Institute, Professor Penni Mälkki.

Ms. Josephine Joordens was appointed as general rapporteur to be supported by other group members on specific agenda items.
