Report of the Working Group on the Assessment of Mackerel, Horse Mackerel, Sardine, and Anchovy

At the 80th ICES Statutory Meeting in RostockWarnemünde,

Germany in 1992, it was decided (C.Res. 1992/2:8:9) that the Working Group on the Assessment of MackereI, Horse MackereI, Sardine and Anchovy (Chairman: Mr A. Eltink, Netherlands) should meet at ICES Headquarters from 22 June - 2 July 1993 to:

a) assess the status of and provide catch options for 1994, and where possible for 1995, for the stocks of mackerel and horse mackerel in Sub-areas lI-IX (defining stocks as appropriate), the sardine stock in Divisions VIIIc and IXa, and the anchovy stock in Sub-area VIII and Division IXa;

b) provide data requested by the Multispecies Assessment Working Group.
