Report of the Working Group on the Assessment of the European Eel
It was decided at the 79th Statutory Meeting (C. Res. 1990/2:5:26) that the Working Group on the Assessment of the European Eel (Chairman: Dr. W. Dekker, Netherlands) would meet in Dublin from 16 - 18 May 1991 to :
a) assemble time-series data on catch and effort for glasseels and grown eels,
b) apply quantitative assessment methods to data from management units of eels in the growing phase.
