Report of the Working Group on the Assessment of the Stocks of Hake

At the ICES Statutory Meeting in 1989 it was decided (C.Res.1989/2,4,26)

The Working Group on the Assessment of the stocks of Hake (Chairman: Mr B.W. Jones) will meet at ICES Headquarters from 1-10 May 1990 to:

a) attempt an age-based assessment for the hake stocks making use of CPUE data and recruit indices and, if possible, providemanagement options for 1991;

b) provide information on possible, provide catch and megrim in Sub-areas the state of exploitation and, if possibilities for stocks of anglerfish VI, VII, and VIII.
